If you are uploading a photo or scan, please make sure the photo/scan is a clear copy. Shadows or blurriness run the risk of not being accepted by the receiving party for your document.

  3. Session Link: Wait for a follow up email from us with your personalized session link to our online notary session.

  4. Identity Proofing: Before the online notarization session, you will need to go through an identity proofing process. This involves verifying your identity using a government-issued identification document, such as a driver's license or passport that can be scanned or uploaded to the platform (Types of ID). The platform will then compare the information on your identification document with the information you provided during registration.

  5. Biometrics or KBA (Knowledge Based Authentication): For biometrics, use your selected device and follow the prompts on your screen to take a facial scan. Make sure your face is centered into the camera and follow the directions on screen Or for KBA, you will be asked a set of 5 personalized questions based on your social security number that only you should know, such as “Which address is associated with you? (select from list)”
